It's been a little while since we've put something out, so we're back with a little something different from Derby-hailing producer BleeQ in the form of his massive two track release "IND. / Untitled". The former is definitely one for techno and warehouse heads, while "Untitled" is a dark and percussive dubstep-leaning track. We're hugely proud of this release, and it got some remarkably humbling words from Juno:
"A very interesting adventure between genres here as Midlands upstart Bleeq tears up the techno and house textbooks with "IND"; an incessant loopy groove, it wouldn't sound out of place anywhere from dubstep to acid techno sets. Meanwhile the cleverly titled "Untitled" dives deep into the half-tempo territory with a spell-binding polyrhythmic dubstep arrangement and oodles of sub bass. The future isn't bleak - it's BleeQ."
From despair and grief to optimism, the subdued electronic compositions on the latest from Opus form a moving narrative. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 3, 2023
